TOP ENGINEERING UNIVERSITIES IN IRELAND

During the year 2019, the engineering profession in Ireland saw a major growth in demand for new recruits. Engineers Ireland reported that more than 6,000 job opportunities for engineers were established in 2019. With Ireland's robust economic growth, demand is likely to climb over time.

Engineering businesses report a scarcity of experienced engineers as a result of the increased demand. Engineers in the domains of automation, chemical, civil, design, electrical, mechanical, process, quality control, and validation were among the skill shortages noted in the National Skills Bulletin of 2020. So here's your chance to fill that void: fly to Ireland and earn an engineering degree from one of the five universities listed below.

#Trinity College Dublin

Trinity College Dublin (Trinity) ranks among Ireland's top universities, coming on top in the QS World University Rankings 2019 for Irish universities. Trinity comprises three faculties: Engineering, Mathematics, and Science; Health Sciences; and Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Oscar Wilde, Ernest Thomas Sinton Walton, William Rowan Hamilton, Edmund Burke, and Mary Robinson are among the prominent alumni.

Trinity’s School of Engineering comprises of three departments:

- Electronic and Electrical Engineering

- Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering

- Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering

In the early years of the school, the curriculum covered structural and hydraulic engineering courses, but they were later altered to incorporate more engineering disciplines. Its present programme consists of five Master's courses that generate roughly 50 postgraduates each year. These courses include the following:

- MSc in mechanical engineering

- MSc in engineering (transport, environmental, sustainable energy, and geotechnical

  and structural)

- MSc in bioengineering

- MAI (Ind.) Master’s in engineering

- MSc in electronic information engineering

The MAI (Ind.) is a two-year workplace-based degree programme that is completed under the guidance of a Trinity professor. It necessitates that a candidate write a dissertation based on research conducted in his or her professional or job setting.
