ROTARY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS- GLOBAL GRANTS
The Rotary Foundation awards more than 7.5 million dollars in scholarships each year to help future leaders pursue their humanitarian goals. A programme like this is the Rotary Foundation Global Grants.
What is a Global Grant, exactly? Professionals and graduates studying abroad in one of Rotary's six areas of concentration, such as peacebuilding, sanitation, hygiene, and clean water, protecting children and mothers, battling disease, boosting local economies, and promoting education, are eligible for Global Grants. Clubs and districts encourage global connections by collaborating to meet the community's needs.
#Global Grants from the Rotary Foundation can be used to sponsor the following projects:
- Humanitarian projects
- Scholarships for graduate-level academic studies
- Vocational training teams, which are groups of professionals who travel abroad either to teach local professionals about their field or to learn more about it themselveS
A worldwide grant project must have a budget of at least 30,000 USD and a World Fund Award of at least 400,000 USD. Directed gifts and endowment profits are occasionally used to fund these.
