Return to growth” in UK as firm acceptances rocket by 31%:

The education industry in the UK has gained rapid momentum with acceptances to university places standing at an increase of 31% in 2024. A good substantial growth when compared with the other years implies a brilliant recovery with full enrollment rates. About 277,790 18-year-old UK’s accepted universities or colleges in 2024 in a data published by the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). This is an increase of 2.8% when put in comparison with 2023 and a 16% increase since 2019. When considered with reference to higher-tariff institutions, acceptances were, to a great extent, up by 13%. Among higher-tariff institutions, it was those that saw the biggest increase in acceptances-spurred by a push to attract more international students in that week in line with their increases. Student numbers have also further noticed this upward trend. In the first half of 2024, South Korea witnessed over 200,000 international students, which constitutes an increase of 50.6% compared to the same period the prior year. The United Kingdom aims to attract 300,000 by 2027 by taking measures in prolonged post-qualification stays with scholarships increasing.
