  1. Delft University of Technology:

The Delft University of Technology, also known as TU Delft, was founded in 1842 and is the Netherlands' oldest and largest technical university. It is ranked #57 globally and second in the Netherlands. Over 25,000 students and 6,000 staff attend TU Delft, all of whom are passionate about science, design, and technology. This university has produced notable Dutch Nobel laureates such as Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff, Heike Kamerlingh Onnes, and Simon van der Meer.

  1. Design Academy Eindhoven:

The Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) is a university of arts, architecture, and design in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. It is one of the world's most premier design schools, with internationally famous professors and alumni. It is based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and was founded in 1955. It provides bachelor's and master's degrees in art, architecture, social design,  fashion design, information design, industrial design, contextual design, graphic design, geo-design, and other design fields. DAE is home to students representing a diverse range of nations and cultures.

  1. Amsterdam University of the Arts:

The Amsterdam University of the Arts, or AHK, is a vocational arts university in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Architecture, fine art and design, music, theater, dance, film, museology, and arts education are all available as bachelor's, advanced, or master's level courses. It prepares students for careers related to art, culture, and heritage on a national and worldwide scale.

  1. Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK):

The Royal Academy of Art, founded in 1682, is the oldest institution in the Netherlands and one of the oldest universities in the world. It is a visual arts and design school in The Hague that collaborates with Leiden University. It has 56 percent international students and offers a variety of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs. The university teaches students to be self-aware artists and designers who contribute significantly to their field and society.

  1. Utrecht School of the Arts:

The HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, also known as Utrecht School of the Arts, is a performing arts and visual arts university in Utrecht, Netherlands. Fine art, Utrechts Conservatorium, design, theater, media, games and interaction, music and technology,  art and economics, and creative transformation. Education and arts management are among the bachelor's and master's degrees and research degrees offered. It is one of Europe's major art institutions, with nine schools, 4400 students, and over 680 teachers and staff members.

#Admission Process

Here's a simple 5-step approach for completing your university application in the Netherlands:

  • Start your application process by visiting the official websites of the institutions to check the eligibility requirements and gather the relevant documentation when you've chosen the proper degree and university to study at in the Netherlands. Supporting materials include letters of recommendation, declarations of purpose, essays, updated resumes, and official transcripts of previous academic degrees.
  • Following that, you may be required to take specific required examinations in order to be considered for the course, such as the GMAT, GRE, IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL
  • The application must then be submitted. Check each university's application deadlines and send the form to the university on time.
  • You must wait for the university to process your application after you have submitted it. If you are chosen, the following steps will be to pay the tuition price, hunt for housing, and apply for a visa.

#Documents Required

  • An application form that is completely filled out.
  • A personal statement describing why you are qualified for the programme.
  • An art portfolio .
  • A copy of a bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.
  • Copy of IELTS/TOEFL/PTE English Language Proficiency Scores
  • Marksheets and certificates from grades X and XII that have been self-attested.
  • If applicable, include two references.
  • Passport/Identification Card 
  • a resume or a curriculum vitae
  • The Statement of Purpose 
  • Recommendation Letter 
  • Evidence of funds.

#Visa Requirements

 

Applicants from the European Union/European Economic Area, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, Monaco, South Korea, the United States, and Vatican City do not require a residence permit or a student visa. If you want to stay for fewer than 90 days, applicants from other countries must apply for a Schengen visa. An entry visa (MVV) and a residency permit are required for students staying for more than 90 days (VVR). When applying for a student visa in the Netherlands, you will need the following documents:

  • Transcripts of academic work.
  • Information based on biometrics.
  • Certificate of birth.
  • Complete study plan - describe why you want to study the chosen topic area and how and why it relates to your previous studies.
  • A visa application form that has been completed.
  • Financial proof for the duration of the programme.
  • Official correspondence from a Dutch academic institution.
  • All original documents' photocopies.
  • Insurance for travel and health.
  • Test for tuberculosis (required for citizens from some countries).
  • Two photos.
  • A valid passport is required.
