SAT examination has no prescribed limit for reappearing. The validity of the SAT score is effective up to 5 years from its first result. Colleges generally consider the best score. Yet only the most recent 6 scores. However, it is advisable not to take more than 4 to 6 attempts. During any investigation, multiple test results can question the seriousness of the candidate or his/ her ability to improve from previous mistakes. It is advisable to reappear only if the previous score is very much on the lower side as there is nothing to lose in this scenario. However, in the case of an upper-rank score, retaking the examination can also result in the reverse situation
