Register for PTE: Step-by-Step Guide

Anyone who wants to register for PTE should create an account on the official PTE website. You are then required to create a profile by filling in additional information, exam history, previous attempts, test preferences, and other relevant information. All information submitted must match the passport credentials. They are also asked to choose between PTE academic or PTE general.

Once the profile is created successfully, the prospective candidate can schedule a slot for taking the PTE. For this purpose, you will have to select a test center convenient to you and book a day for the test from the available slots at the chosen test center. You will get a chance to review your profile, schedule, etc before moving on to the payment. The order would display the type of examination and price (exam fee) along with the tax applicable. In case you want to change the test center or test day slot then this is your chance to change the same. Once the payment is made you can take a print of the acknowledgment receipt. You can access the receipt at any time on the profile dashboard.  In case you want to change the test center or day after making the payment, you will be allowed to change it by paying additional charges. PTE exam is conducted throughout the year.
