FLINDERS GO BEYOND SCHOLARSHIP

Future international students seeking to complete their studies at Flinders University are eligible for Flinders Go Beyond Scholarships. Awarded as a tuition fee reduction to students who wish to study in Australia at Flinders University in an industry-driven degree programme.

• For the first two semesters of a degree programme, there is a 25% tuition fee reduction.
• At Flinders University, this award is given to international students.
• The university offers it to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Business, Creative Arts,  Psychology, Engineering, Environment, Government,  Education, Law,  Public Health, Science, Information Technology, and Social Work are all eligible majors.

Flinders Go Beyond Scholarship applicants are not required to submit a separate scholarship application. They are automatically considered for the scholarship after successfully applying for admission to Flinders University.

#ELIGIBILITY

The Flinders Go Beyond Scholarship is available to Flinders University's outstanding overseas students. The following requirements must be met in order to be considered for the scholarship:

• be a first-year student
• be a full-time international student who pays all fees
• be enrolled in an approved programme starting in Semesters 1 and 2 of 2020 and meet the usual entrance standards, including English language requirements
• Flinders University accepts any prerequisites, work experience, or other qualifications that match the academic criteria.

Applicants must meet all admission requirements for the university's approved academic programme in which they are enrolled.

#APPLICATION PROCESS

Flinders Go Beyond Scholarship applicants are not required to submit a separate scholarship application. Scholarship eligibility will be determined based on an applicant's application for admission to Flinders University.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Choose a UG or PG programme that qualifies.
• Confirm their requirements for admission.
• Verify your scholarship eligibility.
• Fill out an application for admission to the university.
• Students will be evaluated after submitting an entrance application, and if accepted, confirmation of the scholarship will be included in the Letter of Offer.

#SELECTION PROCESS

All prospective overseas students who have obtained an offer letter from Flinders University to continue an approved course (for scholarship) are eligible for the Flinders Go Beyond Scholarship.

#The scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria:

• Application for admission has been submitted.
• Academic performance
• Scores on English language proficiency
• Experiential Learning

#Delivery of Go Beyond Scholarship

• For the first two semesters of the degree programme, the scholarship will be paid immediately into the student's tuition fee account.

• The scholarship will cover the cost of tuition but not non-tuition fees, student visas to Australia, foreign health insurance, living expenses, or any other costs associated with living in Adelaide or studying at Flinders University.

• The scholarship cannot be transferred to another person.

• If a recipient voluntarily withdraws from Flinders University before completing half of the required units for the programme, the recipient will be responsible for repaying the value of the scholarship from the time of admission to the time of withdrawal.

The confirmation of successful selection is included in the Offer Letter. For the scholarship to be given, recipients must return both the course Acceptance Form and the Go Beyond Scholarship Acceptance Form.

#GRANT DETAILS

International students enrolling in an appropriate UG or PG degree at Flinders University are eligible for the Flinders Go Beyond Scholarship. The tuition cost for the first two semesters of the academic programme will be reduced by 25% for successful applicants.

#Exclusions from Scholarships

There are no Go Beyond Scholarships available for-

• students who are currently enrolled at Flinders University and are transferring between Flinders courses.
• students who have previously received financial assistance from the Australian government, a foreign government, or a Flinders University scholarship.
• Transferring students with credit from another university to Flinders University.
• Students who are interested in pursuing a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or a Research Higher Degree.

The award recipients must maintain international student status for the duration of their studies. In addition, they must pay the outstanding tuition payments by the dates. If the candidates provide inaccurate or misleading information in the application form, the scholarship would be considered worthless.

#Conditions for Continuing Eligibility

The Flinders Go Beyond Scholarships must be maintained in order to continue.

enrollment in the first course and specialization as specified in the Letter of Offer

full-time enrollment and international student status continuous enrolment without deferrals or suspensions, as determined by Flinders University

Transfers within disciplines, for example from the Bachelor of Business (Marketing) to the Bachelor of Business (International Business), can be granted; however, transfers to ineligible courses result in the loss of the scholarship. The Go Beyond Scholarship's terms and conditions must be followed by recipients.
