The Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships (VCIHAS) at Charles Darwin University are designed for exceptional and deserving students from all over the world who aspire to pursue higher education at CDU. International students who wish to study at CDU in Australia are eligible for the scholarship.

• Awarded to students enrolled in a university undergraduate or master's degree.
• Charles Darwin University in Australia bestowed this honor.
• VCIHAS is valid for the duration of your university studies.
• Covers half of the tuition charge or a quarter of the tuition fee.
• The scholarship cannot be transferred or returned to another course or semester.
• Awarded to individuals who will begin their studies in 2024 at Charles Darwin University in Australia.

In mid-July, applications for the Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships for semester 1 and 2 admissions will be available. Applicants must submit their applications by November 15 of the previous year for semester 1 and May 15 of the current year for semester 2.

#ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for the Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• You must be an international student in Australia with a valid student visa.
• A minimum total score of 85% in the highest completed qualification is required.
• The applicant must apply for a programme that starts in 2020.
• Meet the academic and English language competency standards of the university.
• Must have an acceptance letter from Charles Darwin University in Australia.
• Other scholarships from any Australian university or international sponsoring body are not permitted.
• The Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships are not open to anyone who is currently an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or who holds New Zealand citizenship.

Candidates must download the application form from the university's official website and submit it before the application deadline to be considered for a CDU Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarship.

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ACST on the deadlines for the Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships (VCIHAS).

• VCIHAS applicants must submit their scholarship application simultaneously with their application for admission to a CDU degree programme.
• In addition, the candidate must submit two referee reports, each including the referee's name, contact information, and work phone number, as well as an email scholarship essay.

SELECTION PROCESS

The Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships are awarded based on a number of considerations, including:

• Academic performance in the most recent completed qualification
• The scholarship essay or the declaration of support
• Reports of referees must be supplied with the application.

Following the submission of applications for admission to CDU Australia and the VCIHAS, the candidates are evaluated according on the data supplied in the applications. The institution then notifies the selected candidates in a timely manner, typically within a month of the application deadline.

Charles Darwin University Australia awards the CDU Vice-International Chancellor's High Achievers Scholarships. For the whole term of the programme, the scholarship amount changes between 50% and 25% of the tuition fee.

International students who wish to study in Australia in an undergraduate or graduate degree at CDU are eligible for the grant. The VCIHAS scholarships are extremely competitive, and simply achieving the minimum eligibility requirements outlined above will not guarantee you a scholarship.
