ADELAIDE GLOBAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
There are numerous scholarships available to those who aspire to pursue higher education in Australia through the University of Adelaide. One such award is the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship, which is offered by the University of Adelaide to international students who demonstrate academic excellence.
- This scholarship is available to international students who are accepted into the University of Adelaide's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- The scholarship is a highly competitive award that recognises and rewards students who have achieved high levels of academic success in their previous course assignments.
- It is not necessary to submit a separate application for the scholarship; instead, recipients are immediately considered for it.
- It is not possible to be considered for this scholarship if you have already received a scholarship from another university.
Under the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship, students participating in full-time study for the duration of their chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree will get a 50 percent tuition fee reduction. In order to be accepted into the programme, the student must have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in the past.
#ELIGIBILITY
When a student applies for or enrolls in their selected field of study at the undergraduate or postgraduate level, they are automatically eligible for the scholarship. The applicant must meet all of the prerequisites for admission to the University of Adelaide in order to be considered for the course work. The application must include all of the needed documentation and must be free of errors in order to be accepted.
The following are the academic requirements for the scholarship:
- Raw ATAR of 98 OR 95% (for UG level)
- GPA 6.8 on 7.0 OR equivalent (for PG level)
Applicants who are ineligible for Global Academic Excellence Scholarship scholarships include those who fall into the following categories:
- Students who are transferring from one programme to another before completing their current programme of study are referred to as "transfer students" (internal transfers).
- Student-scholarship awardees who have received their awards from a reputable organization, such as a government ministry or department.
- Programs leading to a Masters by Research or a Doctoral degree.

#APPLICATION PROCESS
There is no need to submit a separate application for the scholarship. When students submit an application for their course work, they are considered for the award.
The recipients of the scholarships will be notified within two weeks of the scholarship application deadline. Because there is no separate application for the scholarship, the following are the entry requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate study.
- For UG admissions, satisfactory completion of Year 12 or the AISSC/ISC or GCE Advanced Level Examination is required.
- For PG admissions, a satisfactory completion of a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent is required.
ELP tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or C1 Advance must be provided by the students.
#SELECTION PROCESS
A competitive selection process is used to determine who would receive the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship scholarship. Academic achievement is the most important criterion for scholarship consideration.
Students are required to have achieved high levels of academic achievement in their previous course work. Students are chosen on the basis of their performance in high school or at the college level.
When applying for the scholarship, a student's ATAR must be 98 and their GPA must be 6.8 at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in order to maximize their chances of being accepted for the scholarship.
A single scholarship will be awarded to applicants who qualify for more than one scholarship given by the university at the same time.
#GRANT DETAILS
VISA fees, Overseas Student Health Insurance, travel, lodging and other living expenses, as well as any other expenditures associated with the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship are not covered by the scholarship. It is solely granted to students in order to waive their tuition payments. The 50 percent tuition price reduction will be awarded to only two students from each faculty, and they will be the ones who received the greatest scores.
Meeting the academic eligibility requirements does not imply that you will be awarded the scholarship. The recipients of the scholarships will be notified within two weeks of the scholarship application deadline. Students who have been selected must accept their scholarship award within 14 days of receiving it; otherwise, the scholarship will be awarded to the next deserving candidate.
Students studying in undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Adelaide may be eligible to receive a scholarship if they are selected. The scholarship recipient must be enrolled in full-time courses and must maintain high academic standing and progress in order to retain the award.
The University reserves the right to modify or cancel awards, as well as to withdraw or refuse to give scholarships in certain circumstances. In exchange for their participation in a photograph and completing a testimonial for the University, scholarship recipients may have the opportunity to have their testimonial published on the university's website.
