What is the qualifying score for GRE?
There is no qualifying score for GRE. It depends upon the university requirement for a particular program. The higher your score, the more chances you have to get a reputed university. However, the verbal and quantitative sections in the test are each of 170 points(i.e total 340), making it the highest possible score. The analytical writing section score is independently calculated from 0-6, 6 being the highest. The average scores in Verbal and Quantitative sections are around 150-152, while the analytical writing section score is around 3.5.
