What is the cost of studying in Singapore?
Singapore is comparatively a very cheaper option than tuition costs in other nations internationally. The annual fees for international students can range from US$14,400 to US$20,500 but considering the quality of education, standard of university and program you wish to pursue the range could be higher as well. However, more than 50 % of students receive some kind of financial aid.

In Singapore, domestic and international students both are eligible to receive a tuition grant from the Singaporean Ministry of Education once they are offered a place on the course and university. However to receive this grant, student have to sign a bond committing to work for a Singaporean company for a period of 3 years (5-6 years of students of Medicine and Dentistry) after their education. THE Singapore STUDENT VISA
International students who wish to study in Singapore should have a student visa. Once your application has been approved by a recognized university, visa will be issued along with your letter of authorization (also known as your in-principal approval or IPA).
This application covers the subject you want to pursue, past recognized qualifications, necessary paperwork, and proof of English language proficiency.
The automated response indicates that International students will have to apply for a student pass to the Immigration & Authority (ICA) in weeks after receiving the letter of acceptance. The time span to apply is not before 2 months or not later than one month before the start of the program. This has to be done through the Student’s Pass Online Application & Registration System (SOLAR). You will be registered with the SOLAR by the institution which has accepted your application. This SOLAR portal will ask you to submit eForm 16 with basic details like valid passport, institution’s address, email address, photo, etc. Once you arrive in Singapore you will have to make an appointment with the ICA to get your embarkation card granting you the entry to stay in the country as a student. It will also ask you for necessary documents and photographs, eForm copy, Passport, other agreements and pay a fee of (US$22) and (US$44) at the time when pass is issued. This pass allows student to work during school holidays and also during terms for not more than 16 hours per week.
