Switzerland's reputation as the home of hotel and hospitality management, was established over a hundred years ago when the first palace-style hotels were built. Guests of this era demanded the highest levels of service excellence and the leading Swiss hoteliers responded by systematizing the processes for hotel operations. These processes were the foundation for the enviable reputation Switzerland has today in hospitality management.
